The Idea

Showtime wanted to make a splash with the return of Dexter to the screen in season 9 by leveraging Amazon. I managed the execution and direction of the highly visible Amazon Homepage hero where we see Dexter staring at us with that infamous grin. Once customers clicked on the placement, they were directed to a custom designed landing page where they could watch the trailer and special content, explore the cast and subscribe to Showtime for 7 days free. I partnered with a design technologist to design a responsive page which included a custom animated component at the top of the page.

Showtime also wanted to utilize Amazon’s On-Box Ads product. I directed a junior designer and ensured creative cohesion across all placements. In close partnership with Showtime, Prime Video Channels, and internal Amazon stakeholders I ensured the designs passed ad policy and brand guidelines were followed for an on time launch.
