The Idea
DreamWorks came to Amazon to release their new film Trolls World Tour in a never before way. With the pandemic causing theater visits to be restricted, they chose to release the film on Prime Video Cinema as a direct streaming release. With this new approach, they chose to use the Amazon Homepage as a springboard to get customers excited about the film and to give them an opportunity to rent it at home. I leveraged animated toolkit elements to create a fun and engaging hero placement that customers would see when they visited Amazon.com.
